Las Vegas, NV - October 9, 2017 – Universal Avionics announces that its Authorized Dealer, Millennial Technologies, has signed the first international Cessna Citation VII aircraft for the company's new InSight Display System. This marks the second installation of the InSight system in the Citation VII since the STC received FAA approval just over a month ago.

The installation will be performed at Millennial's facility in Opa-Locka, Florida and will feature Universal's InSight Display System, Engine Interface Unit (EIU), TAWS Class A, and UNS-1Fw SBAS-Flight Management System with Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Out. As the operator frequently travels to the United States, the upgrade will provide many new benefits, including enhanced functionality such as Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance (LPV) approaches and route optimization.

"Working with Millennial Technologies and expanding the reach outside of the United States for Insight and its advanced technology is a great benefit for both operators and Universal Dealers/Integrators," said Corey Wilkinson, Universal Avionics Program Development Manager and Regional Sales Manager of Latin America. "We look forward to more interest and opportunities for the both of us," he added.

"We are very pleased to work with Universal Avionics in performing this state of the art retrofit system installation for one of our Latin American clients," said Gabriel Maestracci, Millennial Technologies Chief Executive Officer. "As Avionics products develop daily, we encourage our customers to invest in such systems," he added. "Not only to improve situational awareness, comply with new FAA regulations, and reduce crew workload, but to also enhance the efficiency and safety of every single flight," he added.

The InSight system is designed as an integrated flight deck solution, featuring embedded: next generation synthetic vision with advanced mapping capability, electronic charts, frequency management, and broadcast weather. With fewer required external Line Replaceable Units (LRU) for essential functions than existing avionics, InSight reduces weight and wiring in the aircraft. As an integrated system, InSight retains the ability to interface with a large number of federated components such as attitude/heading sensors, air data computers, radars, traffic systems, radios, and autopilots. Lower operating and maintenance costs, enhanced safety, situational awareness, and functionality for pilots are all possible with an InSight upgrade.
